We only collect what we need to provide our services to you.

How we collect information

There are a number of ways in which Spectrum collects information though its website, including via numerous online tools:

  • Google Analytics, a website analytics tool that collects information about how you interact with our website. This information will not ordinarily be personal information, because you will not be identified, or reasonably identifiable from it.

  • Google reCAPTCHA, a tool to eliminate spam attacks and to be able to distinguish users from bots. The tool may collect data about how you interact with the website (eg IP address, date and time, device type, etc). This information will be stored on Google’s servers outside of Australia. Content that you enter in Spectrum’s web forms will not be collected through the use of this tool.

  • MailChimp, a mailing list tool we use to send email newsletters and other communications. Spectrum collects personal information, such as contact details, that you provide when signing up to the Spectrum’s mailing lists.

  • ReadyEmploy, a recruitment tool we use to collect information from job applicants. Spectrum collects personal information such as contact details and resumes when you apply for a job at Spectrum.

  • TryBooking, an event management tool. Spectrum collects personal information such as contact details when you register for an event.

  • SurveyMonkey; a tool to conduct surveys. Spectrum may collect personal information when you complete an online survey.

  • Gravity Forms, for submitting form enquiries and registrations. Spectrum uses Gravity Forms to allow website visitors to make enquiries or submit Expressions of Interest. Spectrum collects personal information relevant to the purpose of the form.

  • Stripe, for online payments. Spectrum uses Stripe to enable people to pay securely for things via our website. The banking information you enter when making a payment on our website is not visible to Spectrum.
