We give newly arrived migrants free support to help with their settlement in Australia.

We also advocate to other settlement services on behalf of individuals and communities to try and build better futures for our newest arrivals.

Who we can help

You can use our settlement support services if you’ve been in Australia for five years or less, have low levels of English proficiency, are a permanent resident and came to Australia on a Humanitarian/Refugee visa or as a Family Stream migrant.

How we can help

Here are some of the support services we offer:

Drop-in service

Come in to talk with one of our settlement workers without needing an appointment. Drop-in times are from 10am – 12 noon Wednesdays and Fridays at our Dallas Office.

Immigration assistance

Get free immigration assistance and information from registered migration agents.

 Information sessions

Information for new migrants about health, education, housing, legal and financial issues, employment, welfare and everything that’s required to successfully settle in Australia. See our calendar of events for details.
