family services

Helping parents and children to communicate and understand each other better.

We provide high quality support to migrant families, to help them improve their family relationships and parenting practices.

Our dedicated bilingual and bicultural support workers offer a range of culturally tailored services to both new and established migrants, through parental support groups, in-depth family case-work and our Parenting in a New Culture program.

How we can help

There are a few different ways we support migrant families:

  • Engaging with newly arrived families to strengthen parenting skills and family wellbeing.
  • Giving one-to-one support to families experiencing parenting issues, intergenerational conflict, or separation and settlement stress.
  • Providing home-based outreach services to families from multicultural backgrounds.
