Settlement Services

Spectrum’s Settlement Services provides support to newly arrived migrants and refugees in the first five years of your time in Australia. We work with individuals, families and groups to help you navigate your new life in Melbourne.

Our Settlement and Family Services team are highly qualified and experienced in supporting migrants and refugees. We care deeply for each of our clients and understand that each person arrives with individual needs and hopes, complex challenges, and their own cultural and language preferences.

All of our work is driven by lived experience: many of our staff have also arrived in Australia as refugees or humanitarian migrants. So you can be sure that from the time you arrive in Australia, you are in caring hands at Spectrum, with people who will really listen to you.

Spectrum works closely with other Government and community organisations, meaning that you can be connected to all the services and support that you need to thrive.

Hope thrives here

As a former refugee subjected to torture in my home country, I know how hard life is. Spectrum migrant resource centre is doing a great work for most vulnerable people in this country. I wish my very best to them to help refugees. Spectrum brings diversity, inclusiveness, hope and love to Australia. This feels me, still Australia is a place of welcome.”
