Spectrum’s annual report tells stories of change and opportunity

Spectrum welcomed the release of its 2016/17 Annual Report at yesterday’s Annual General Meeting.

This year’s Annual Report acknowledges immense change over 2016 and 2017, and that these changes have provided Spectrum with both challenge and opportunity.  CEO Stelvio Vido reports that “We have responded with clear focus on helping people feel at home in Australia”

Stelvio’s report acknowledges the pivotal events of 2016/17 including Spectrum’s role in assisting with the settlement of 12,000 additional people of refugee backgrounds, from Syria.   He also references the challenge and opportunity presented by the transition to Client Directed Care for the Aged Care sector, and the implementation of the NDIS for people with disabilities.

“This Annual Report reflects the work of Spectrum; a vibrant, dynamic organisation undertaking valuable and valued work, that we are all enthused to be part of” says Stelvio.

Spectrum is undertaking transformational projects to ready itself for growth and to continually embrace change.  Simultaneously, Spectrum is working alongside clients to enable them to grow and thrive.

Spectrum’s core reason for being is to help people feel at home in Australia.

“This readable and approachable Annual Report tells the personal stories of growth amidst the change, from the perspective of our clients, our people, and the organisation as a whole”,

A copy of the report is available on Spectrum’s website www.spectrumvic.org.au.
