Spectrum’s Clifton Respite Cottage and Respite Centre Whittlesea offer a warm and inviting setting for older people from cultural and linguistically diverse backgrounds to provide respite for their carers, while participants enjoy supported independence and regular social interaction.
Our respite centres are a welcoming and stimulating home away from home, including bilingual support staff, culturally familiar activities – including craft, games, cooking, exercise, outings and health information sessions – culturally appropriate meals prepared onsite, and a full transport service to and from the centre.
A co-contribution fee is invoiced on a monthly basis.
