The passing of the baton commences at Spectrum

Spectrum Board Chair, Moreno Grison and CEO Stelvio Vido have today announced that the process to recruit the next CEO for Spectrum is about to commence.

Stelvio, the Board, and Spectrum’s Leadership team are committed to a smooth CEO handover to ensure continuing momentum in Spectrum’s growth.  The exact timing of Stelvio’s departure, after more than 3 years in the role, will depend on recruitment and appointment timelines.

Chair Moreno Grison said “Spectrum has undergone significant transformation over the last three years. Spectrum is now positioned well to tackle the challenges of the future.  There is a strong and cohesive culture, with staff and management deeply committed to our ‘feel at home’ purpose.   The team we have in place understand and know what’s required of a contemporary organisation to respond to the growing demand for our services, especially in aged and disability.  Our focus now is to build on the work done by Stelvio over the last three years – we extend our best wishes to Stelvio”.

Stelvio expressed his appreciation for the opportunity he has had at Spectrum to work with great staff in service of migrant and refugee communities. “Spectrum is a passionate place – people truly care about their clients and families and there is a strong commitment to enriching the lives we touch. There is great opportunity for Spectrum to respond to growing demand for its services and has the people and the mindset to respond to that demand.’

Stelvio thanked the Board and Chairs, Sumith Perera (past) and Moreno Grison for their trust and support in refocussing Spectrum on future opportunities.

Stelvio plans to step back from full-time employment but continue to be active in supporting organisations with a community focus. He might also have some more time to indulge his passion for travel.
