The Refugee Action Program works with emerging refugee communities in Melbourne’s northern suburbs. It helps them identify their own needs and develop community-owned projects in partnership with local councils and service providers.

Hume Ambassador Leadership Training
Training 23 community ambassadors from refugee and migrant communities in Hume.
Whittlesea Social Soccer Program
Engaging males seeking asylum and refugees through social soccer to reduce social isolation and develop social inclusion.
Working with Communities Seeking Asylum
Delivering information sessions about Australia to newly arrived refugees.
Working with Bhutanese Community
Running activities for Bhutanese seniors to foster social connection.
Governance Training
Educating the Turkmen community on how to manage an incorporated association.
Working with Iranian Community
Assisting Iranian refugees to find social connectedness and understand mainstream services.
